The Virtual School is the unit that sits within Social Care that monitors and promotes the educational outcomes, achievements and experiences for Children in Care (CiC) and (in some cases) Children with a Social Worker (CWSW).

The Knightly Trust works closely with different Virtual Schools to support neurodiverse children and those experiencing Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges to access education and to thrive. We provide experienced trauma-informed teaching staff to work alongside children for as long as they need. This may be at their school setting or otherwise. We have a proven track record of successfully supporting Virtual Schools to provide an individualised child-centred approach on a short-term or long-term basis.

We also offer advice and support to senior leadership members and SENCOs on strategies and interventions to support children who are experiencing emotional dysregulation. We want every child to receive the support they need.
